Are your students ready to debate the future of sustainable tourism beyond 2030?

We are excited to invite AEHT member schools to participate in the AEHT Youth Parliament 2026, taking place in Riga, Latvia, 7–11 April 2026

This year’s theme: Sustainable Gastronomy Tourism — “Actions After 2030”

Through a dynamic Youth Parliament format, students will:

• Engage in international debates
• Present a 2-minute pitch talk
• Explore real sustainability challenges
• Develop leadership, diplomacy, and critical thinking skills

Debate topics include:

• “Waste Is Not Just Trash — It’s Tomorrow”
• “Next-Gen Traveller Choices — Can Going Green Still Be FUN?”
• “Green Travel Hype — Cool Trends or Real Change?”

Participation Details:

• Students must be 18 years old
• English level B2 or higher required

Good to know: Participation for students is free of charge, including accommodation, meals, transfers, and programme activities. Teachers/mentors registration fee: 350 €

AEHT Youth Parliament 2026 – Pieteikšanās atvērta!

Aicinām AEHT dalībskolas pieteikt skolēnus dalībai AEHT Youth Parliament 2026, kas notiks Rīgā, 7.–11. aprīlī 2026

Šī gada tēma: Ilgtspējīgs gastronomijas tūrisms — “Rīcība pēc 2030”

Dalībnieki piedalīsies starptautiskās debatēs, prezentēs 2 minūšu “pitch” uzstāšanos un analizēs ANO Ilgtspējīgas attīstības mērķus, īpaši:

• Atbildīgu patēriņu un ražošanu
• Klimata rīcību
• Pieejamu un tīru enerģiju

Nosacījumi:

• 18 gadi
• Angļu valoda vismaz B2 līmenī

Skolēniem dalība ir bez maksas (iekļauta izmitināšana, ēdināšana un programma). Pedagogiem dalības maksa – 350 €
